MCC baseball moves Friday-Saturday games

Because of weather concerns, two McCook Community College baseball games have been postponed. Games scheduled for Friday at Sterling, Colo., and Saturday at McCook have been moved.
Sunday's "Fan Appreciation Day" at the Jaycees Sports Complex will proceed as planned with the MCC softball team taking on Western Nebraska in a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m. The Indian baseball team takes on Northeastern Junior College in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. The MCC Indians Boosters Club will serve free hot dogs and potato chips to those in attendance as a 'Thank You' to those Indians fans who have supported MCC athletics throughout the 2017-2018 school year.
The baseball game with MCC and NJC originally scheduled for Friday in Sterling, Colo., have been rescheduled for Friday, April 27. The home game originally scheduled for Saturday against NJC will be moved to Monday.
With these scheduling changes it means the MCC baseball team (weather permitting) will end the home schedule with four games in three days Sunday, Monday and Tuesday's final game against Southeast Community College.
MCC finishes the season with 16 straight games on the road starting April 20-22 with three doubleheaders in three days at Miles City, Mont. The Pioneers are 16-12 on the season.
