Molloy is region's top pitcher for second time

McCook Community College freshman Landon Molloy has received the Region IX Pitcher of the Week for a second time this season.

He was selected for the week of March 24-30 for his his start against Western Nebraska March 27 in which he picked up the win in complete game, nine-inning win, 4-0 over the Cougars. He gave up seven hits while not allowing a run, only walking two while striking out 10.

Molloy previously received the award in Week 6 of the season (March 3-9).
