Last Season
Okonkwo played in all 31 games his freshman year and was a starter the last 16 games of the season.  He averaged 6.5 points and 5.3 rebounds, while shooting 51% from the field. He had a season high of 20 points at Southeast CC and recorded 13 rebounds at Northwest Kansas Tech JV.  Okonkwo also earned NJCAA Academic All-American and Region IX Academic All-Conference.
 
Prior to McCook
Okonkwo graduated from Vama Model College, where he averaged 15 points per game and were the high school divisional champions his senior year.

Born on October 17, 1997…Son of Okonkwo Solomon.  Chinedu has a brother Chidera.
