Melody Sang grew up in Yangon, Myanmar, and came to the United States as an international student.

She graduated from Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas, in 2022. That school deeply valued sports – especially basketball – which she said first sparked her interest in athletics.

This is her first year serving as a student manager. She is pursuing a nursing degree and hopes to build a career in the medical field.

“Being surrounded by dedicated athletes has inspired me to help players recover from injuries and so they can return to doing what they love,” she said. “Supporting and learning from this team is truly a dream come true for me.”
